Rescue stories usually involve the element of luck. Being in the right place at the right time. This is certainly the case here, in this very odd, and very lucky, rescue story.
In Obninsk, Russia a newborn was left out in a freezing hallway, inside a box. Basically the baby was being left for dead as there’s no way one could survive these temperatures, in these conditions.
Here’s where that luck factor comes into play. It turns out a stray cat happened along the cold, abandoned baby. The cat ended up getting in the box with the child and curling up right alongside him. It’s almost as if the stray knew this wasn’t right and the baby needed to be protected and immediately warmed up.
Thankfully the pair were eventually found and the baby was immediately taken to the hospital by paramedics. The savior cat followed along the whole way, right into the emergency room almost as if she was making sure her found baby was safe. A paramedic even stated that the cat showed signs of worry that the baby was being taken, and clearly the feline wanted to join them to be with the baby.
