Sick Shelter Dog Has One Last With – A Happy Christmas With a Lovely Family

This Terrier mix named Wiffle Ball had a very difficult year. A lot of of health issues and all happened in just one year.

This no-kill shelter in Virginia – Richmond Animal League – received the sad and sick pup. After examination, they found that Wiffle Ball had heartworms.

They discovered that he was also suffering from pneumonia. The brave dog didn’t give up and he fought hard to beat the illness.

Wiffle Ball recovered from all these ordeals. One day, he didn’t feel well again and diagnosed with something he couldn’t recover from – lymphoma.

Amy McCracken, of Richmond Animal League, said chemo would give 6-18 months.

Amy explained that Wiffle Ball wanted to spend this Christmas in a forever home. They first took him for a good day out and offered him a lot of love and attention.
