This is the story of an pit bull with unfortunate circumstances who not only gets saved from being put down, but also has a little buddy to live with! You would never think a pit bull could be so lucky.
Fifty is a pit bull who was caught rooting through someone’s garbage and was unfortunately shot under the belief that he was a dangerous animal. Pit bulls have been given a bad reputation by the media, and that has resulted in a lot of people growing fearful of them. But Fifty is one of the most affectionate, gentlest, and most cheerful dog one could ever meet.
He was adopted quite quickly once he was given another chance in a no-kill shelter, and even received a prosthetic leg to help him get around on a daily basis. But that’s not where the good news stops. Jane, a tiny puppy who was abandoned on the streets, was rescued by Fifty’s mom, and now he has a new sister to play with!
Despite the massive difference in size and ages between the two, Fifty couldn’t be more gentle with his new sibling. They play and sleep together, and explore the wonders of the backyard together in their winter jackets. There’s no way you can separate these two happy pups, and why would you want to?
It just goes to show that any dog can become a loving animal with a little patience and care, and may have the fortune of having another canine buddy to spend the rest of his long days with.
