This is the tale of a miraculous cat named Lilo! It was in early September that five kittens with under formed front limbs was abandoned by their supposedly feral momma on the rescue office Tenth Life’s doors.
On further examination, the doctor stated that Lilo suffered from panleukopenia, which is a feline distemper with a critical survival rate of 5-10% in kittens less than two months. Every one of her siblings were, lost to death while Lilo put up all that she could to fight for life. Lilo’s first day in her new foster home.
Counting back, Lilo is one among the 5-10% luckiest kittens ever been alive. Lilo initially had a high temperature, which subsided once her body began to fight stronger and braver. Tenth Life claims that even at the eleventh hour, Lilo snuggled her face on her foster Mamma with an overpowering magic of love.
Bobbi, the foster Momma claims that that was Lilo’s way of thanking all of the rescue crew for saving her life, regardless of what happened next.
