Bella has a rare disorder that affects her mobility… but she was also tired of relying on crutches or a wheelchair to get around. One day, she met a service dog named George, and the two knew right away that they needed each other.
George works hard every day to give Bella the independence she needs, to help her walk again on her own two feet… and for that, he earned a “Best Day Ever.” The two best friends started their day at the beautiful Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. From there, it was time for lunch: a huge platter of burgers at Wahlburgers (no buns for me, thanks!). George doesn’t get to eat human food very often, but this was a treat. Up next? A romp in the snow, which might be George’s favorite thing in the world after Bella, on their very own private ski slope.
After that, it was time to go shopping at the most amazing treat shop for dogs. Finally, George and Bella returned to their fancy suite, where one more surprise awaited them: a room full of toys, and a $1,000 donation in George’s name to the Service Dog Project. And finally? A George-sized bed to sleep in!
This big guy deserves all the love, treats and special attention he can get.
