A symbiotic relationship is one that’s beneficial to both parties in some fashion. A perfect example is the clownfish and the anemone. The clownfish finds refuge in the poisonous arms of the anemone and pays the anemone ‘rent’ in the form of…well, poop, that the anemone feeds on!
Another good example of symbiosis could be dogs and humans, dogs provide humans with companionship and protection and humans, in turn, provide dogs with food and shelter.
However, not every symbiotic relationship benefits both parties involved – fleas and mosquitoes are a perfect example. They feed off of the blood of their hosts. But enough with the science lessons, this symbiotic relationship takes place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
There a cat has made friends with a local deer!
Last month, Reddit user Monarch, posted these lovely photos. The deer pays a visit to her feline friend each morning.
The deer lays down on the ground, and the cat initiates the morning snuggle session!
After the proper formalities are complete, the daily cleaning ritual can commence! The cat may take a momentary break to have a little fun by pouncing on his friends head!
But, the deer doesn’t even bat an eye!
The friends are completely satisfied just relaxing together in the shade. Swapping quick kisses!
Both the deer and the kitty are having their emotional needs satisfied when they spend time together!
